Contour Software Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Developer to tackle challenging problems with strong communication skills. The role demands hands-on development across PHP, JavaScript, Python, and MySQL, with potential exposure to Golang and cloud-native tools.

You will contribute to architecture discussions, design scalable services, and participate in on-call rotations in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript and Python.
• Experience with Golang is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in MySQL.
• Experience with web services, APIs, and database design.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proven ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Looking for a Senior Software Developer with focus towards problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development

• Strong proficiency in PHP, JS and Python

• Experience with Golang would be a plus

• Strong proficiency in MySQL

• Experience with web services, APIs, and database design

• Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms

• Proven ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions

• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI development tools like Claude Code or Cursor

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems

• Exposure to microservices architecture and scalable system design

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments
