PureLogics in Lahore is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (DevSecOps) to design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure and application environments.

You will monitor performance, resolve incidents, and automate deployment and operations workflows while integrating security into CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with software development, security, and operations teams is essential to improve resilience.

Competenze

• Strong SRE skills for availability, scalability, observability, and resilience.
• Troubleshooting production systems and performance bottlenecks across distributed environments.
• Hands-on development experience in Python/Go/Java and scripting for automation.
• Solid Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and security hardening.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Background in DevSecOps with CI/CD pipelines, security scanning, secrets management, and compliance best practices.
• Proficiency with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills; ability to work across teams.

Role Description The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (DevSecOps) role at PureLogics is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure and application environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring system performance, identifying and resolving incidents, automating deployment and operations workflows, and integrating security best practices into CI/CD pipelines. The engineer will work closely with software development, security, and operations teams to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and ensure consistent observability across services. The role also involves creating documentation, contributing to technical standards, mentoring team members, and proactively enhancing system resilience and compliance.
Qualifications

• Strong Site Reliability Engineering skills, including designing for availability, scalability, observability, and resilience.
• Advanced Troubleshooting capabilities for production systems, incidents, and performance bottlenecks across distributed environments.
• Hands-on Software Development experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., "Python, Go, Java") and scripting for automation.
• Solid System Administration skills, including Linux-based environments, networking fundamentals, and security hardening.
• Experience with Infrastructure management, such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Background in DevSecOps, with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, security scanning, secrets management, and compliance best practices.
• Proficiency with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, or similar), and incident management processes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
