The ideal candidate has strong Linux administration experience, can understand and debug Ruby applications, and applies solid software engineering and testing practices in a fast-moving, AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application support or software engineering.
• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot Ruby applications.
• Experience diagnosing complex production issues across layers.
• Customer-facing communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application, infrastructure, and production-related issues.
• Investigate application behavior by reviewing Ruby code to identify root causes.
• Perform production support activities, including data analysis and controlled data updates.
• Work directly with customers to understand issues and communicate resolutions.
• Take ownership of incidents and drive them through to resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify recurring issues and long-term solutions.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve troubleshooting and productivity.
• Contribute to improving code quality, documentation, and system reliability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for knowledge sharing.
