Job summary

Altura is seeking a Senior QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead comprehensive testing across unit, integration, functional, E2E, and security domains. The role covers performance, usability, compatibility, and UAT, ensuring robust quality throughout the software lifecycle.

You will collaborate in an agile environment, work with frontend and backend teams, verify data integrity across services, and document defects for resolution. Remote work flexibility will be discussed during hiring.

Responsibilities

• Unit Testing of individual functions, validate business logic and edge cases.
• Integration Testing of frontend/backend, API and database interactions, third-party integrations.
• Functional Testing of forms, validations, user actions, and permissions.
• End-to-End Testing of critical user workflows and data flows.
• Regression Testing after code changes and bug fixes.
• Security Testing of authentication, authorization, input validation and data protection.
• Performance Testing including load testing and response times.
• Usability & Accessibility Testing covering navigation, responsive layouts, and WCAG criteria.
• Compatibility Testing across browsers, devices, and OS.
• User Acceptance Testing to verify features against business requirements.

We need a senior QA engineer for our system with 5+ years of experience who will be able to do:

  • Test all features against acceptance criteria.
  • Verify forms, validations, and user actions.
  • Test authentication and user permissions.
  • Verify successful and unsuccessful workflows.
• End-to-End (E2E) Testing
  • Test all critical user workflows.
  • Verify data flows correctly across the application.
  • Test successful and failed transactions.
  • Confirm expected results and notifications.
• Regression Testing
  • Retest existing features after code changes.
  • Run regression tests after bug fixes.
  • Verify critical workflows after updates.
  • Document any newly introduced defects.
• Security Testing
  • Test authentication and authorization.
  • Verify role-based access and permissions.
  • Test input validation and common vulnerabilities.
  • Verify sensitive data protection and secure API access.
  • Check session management and access restrictions.
• Performance Testing
  • Measure page load times and API response times.
  • Perform load testing with expected user traffic.
