Job summary

AppWork is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automated testing across web, mobile, and API surfaces. You will own the automation strategy, design robust test suites, and work with R&D squads to prevent issues before customer release.

You will build tests for web portals, mobile apps (iOS/Android, offline capable), and backend APIs, ensuring quality with a strong emphasis on risk-based coverage and regression safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA automation, building and maintaining test suites from scratch.
• Hands-on testing of web apps and REST APIs, with automation focus.
• Ability to read/write code (JavaScript/TypeScript) for tests.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites across web, mobile, and APIs.
• Collaborate with R&D squads to embed testability in new features from day one.
• Identify coverage gaps and prioritize automation by risk and impact.
• Investigate bugs, document clearly, and verify fixes via automation.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, diagnosable test failures.
• Test system integrations to ensure bidirectional data sync.
• Contribute to test strategy for AI features and regression safety.
