Ciklum is seeking an Expert Python Engineer to join our Islamabad-based team in Pakistan. You will design, build, and maintain scalable Python applications within a cross-functional group, focusing on modern AI-driven solutions and microservices.

The role emphasizes code quality, mentorship, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders. We value deep expertise in FastAPI, async programming, and cloud-native patterns, with opportunities to work on evolving tax-related digital transformation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience.
• Strong hands-on with FastAPI.
• Experience with Generative AI and LLMs for real-world problems.
• Familiarity with LangGraph, AutoGen, Crew AI, Google ADK, etc.
• Experience with Pydantic for data validation and schema definition in Python apps.
• Async and parallel programming with asyncio.
• Proficiency with MongoDB or other non-relational databases.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services (Service Bus, Data Lake, Blob Storage, Redis).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce coding standards across the project.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high code quality.
• Work both independently and with the team.
• Communicate clear instructions to team members and manage day-to-day operations.
• Communicate with the client on a regular basis.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Python applications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Optimize code for performance and scalability with efficient data handling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical issues ensuring reliability and performance.
• Create and maintain documentation for code and workflows.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced developers.
