Job summary
Ciklum is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Pakistan to join a cross-functional team on the SDT project, focusing on tax lifecycle technology transformation. You will design and deploy data pipelines, develop analytics, and build dashboards that provide actionable insights for business partners.
Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Spark, Databricks, Python, and data modeling, and will improve platform quality and performance while collaborating with global teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Apache Spark, including Databricks.
- Proficient in Python with PySpark and Pandas.
- Experience developing and maintaining unit tests for Databricks workloads.
- Solid understanding of columnar storage (Parquet) and Delta Lake/Delta Tables.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy data solutions, dashboards, and reports delivering key insights.
- Design and implement data models.
- Optimize reports and dashboards for performance and efficient data modeling.
- Tune SQL and DAX queries for performance.
- Identify gaps and improve platform quality, robustness, and speed.
- Cross-train team members and share knowledge.
