Job summary

Flatgigs is seeking a seasoned Python and Django developer to join our product-focused team. You will translate broad requirements into technical plans and build reliable production systems spanning backend services and AI-enabled workflows for call-center ops.

You will work with product, business and operations teams, own end-to-end features, ensure code quality, testing and observability, and contribute to telephony integrations as needed while maintaining ownership and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, backend or full-stack.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Django and Django REST Framework.
• Ability to translate loosely defined business needs into a sensible technical design and delivery plan.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from discovery to deployment and iteration.
• Translate requirements into technical plans and milestones.
• Design, build and maintain Python/Django services, APIs and data models.
• Build AI agents and automation for call-center operations and analytics.
• Define evaluation criteria, guardrails and monitoring for AI features.
• Contribute to telephony infrastructure and integrations as needed.
• Write clean, tested code and document important decisions.
• Coordinate deliverables and manage dependencies and risks.
• Collaborate openly and share knowledge while remaining accountable.
