Role Overview

• The Product Senior Analyst provides functional and technical expertise on SAP MDG, SAP BW on Hana, SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks, in charge of design, development, deployment, further evolution, and support of Global Applications products to business users, including ITIL Service Delivery process, Continuous Improvement, Deployment project roles, and Service Introduction project roles.
• This position always searches for better and quicker delivery value back to our customers, based on Agile and DevOps ways of working and mindsets.
• The role will be part of the Global Applications Service Delivery team based in various hub sites.
• The role is responsible for the daily support of Mars’ global Data Platform and analytics technologies, working closely with strategic partners. (I049)
• The role manages the Global Data Platform Community and leads the Data Platform Operations pillar. (I049)
• The role leads complex Data Lifecycle Management projects. (I049)
• The role is responsible for driving global Data environment optimization initiatives, delivering $4M in annual cost savings or cost avoidance. (I049)

Responsibilities

• Manage demand with the business (CIPs, projects, major incidents, special requests), including escalation of incidents/requests/problems/demands from business.
• Involvement on transformational programs/projects to provide functional and technical expertise, collaborating from design through go‑live of products, including Service Introduction role when needed.
• Service management with 3rd‑party vendors based on role‑model operational excellence, overall accountability on metrics for service (SLAs, availability, performance, etc).
• Development management with 3rd‑party vendors based on role‑model development excellence, overall accountability on metrics for development.
• Strong collaboration with business to translate functional requirements into practical IT solution specifications, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Manage and execute technical design, development, and configuration activities for products and services on SAP MDG, SAP BW on Hana, SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks.
• Identify and develop automation opportunities across business and internal processes.
• Identify, propose, and develop improvements for products and services as part of Problem Management process.
• Document solutions developed according to defined rules, ensuring global supportability.
• Participate and collaborate on Communities of Practice related to functional and technical areas.
• Assist with change‑management activities, including releases and production slots.

Qualifications

• Good communication, especially in English and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment, managing multiple activities and priorities, and working well under pressure.
• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or Information Systems required.
• IT background.
• Strong SAP MDG, SAP BW on Hana, SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks experience; preference for FMCG industry. Experience in business areas is a plus.
• Understanding of business operations processes.
• Preferred SAP MDG, SAP BW on Hana, SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks or similar functionality in service, development or projects.
• ITIL, PMI, Agile, DevOps, Scrum certifications are a plus.
• Proven leadership and influencing experience with key stakeholders.
