Job summary

Grand City is seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to join our Head Office team in Lahore. The candidate will lead planning and scheduling for major infrastructure projects, including roads and buildings, with a focus on DHA initiatives.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, baselines, WBS, progress monitoring, and reporting. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, PEC registration, 5–8 years of experience, and strong analytical and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience as a Planning Engineer.
• Experience in planning and executing road and building infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience with DHA projects is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
• Strong scheduling, reporting, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using planning and scheduling tools.
• Prepare baseline programmes, WBS, and project timelines.
• Monitor project progress and identify schedule variances, delays, and risks.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Conduct project planning, resource allocation, and forecasting to optimize project performance.
• Analyze project data and recommend corrective actions to meet milestones.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and quality standards.
