Job summary

Midas Safety Inc. in Pakistan seeks a production operations specialist with a background in textile engineering or industrial and manufacturing engineering to oversee cutting, sewing, finishing, processing, and packing, and to align daily, weekly, and monthly production plans with shipment timelines.

You will ensure material flow, maintain inventory accuracy, collaborate with QA to minimize rejections, apply Lean principles, optimize floor layout and operator efficiency, identify training needs,

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in cut-to-pack garment manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of IE techniques, 5S, line balancing, productivity improvement, processing, stitching, and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow across Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Processing and Packing to execute production plans and meet shipment timelines.
• Ensure steady flow of materials with inventory accuracy to prevent production delays.
• Collaborate with QA to identify, track and implement strategies to minimize rejections and wastages.
• Apply Lean manufacturing principles and optimize floor layout and operator efficiency.
• Identify training and development needs of supervisors and operators to improve performance.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct operational audits and ensure compliance with production standards and procedures.

• Knowledge Areas: Industrial Engineering (IE) techniques, 5S, line balancing, productivity improvement, processing, stitching,and production planning.
