Job summary

inDrive is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Pakistan to architect, build, and deploy complex NLP models for automating customer support operations. You will lead the full ML cycle, translate business goals into data science problems, and ensure scalable production systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data science/ML with NLP, strong Python expertise, and experience with MLOps. You will mentor teammates and collaborate across global teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in data science or machine learning with NLP focus.
• Academic background in CS, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is a plus.
• Expert level Python and core data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with ML system design and MLOps in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ML model lifecycle from research to production deployment and maintenance.
• Translate business goals into data science problems and metrics.
• Design robust, scalable ML systems including data analysis and pipelines.
• Integrate ML models with backend services and infrastructure.
• Monitor deployed models and address issues like concept drift.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to onboarding programs.
• Drive automation to improve efficiency and business impact.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
