Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our IS&T team. The role focuses on implementing and managing Fortinet firewalls, Ruckus wireless, and Cisco switching/routing to ensure robust and secure network infrastructure across projects.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in enterprise networking, strong L2/L3 knowledge, VPN expertise, and excellent communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 5–8 years in enterprise networking roles.
• Hands-on with Fortinet, Ruckus, and Cisco technologies.
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3, routing, and VPNs.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls (Fortinet) including VPNs, policies, NAT, UTM, and HA setups.
• Manage, maintain and optimize wireless networks (Ruckus) including SmartZone controllers and AP configurations.
• Manage Cisco switches and routers (Catalyst, Nexus) including VLANs, STP, OSPF, EIGRP, ACLs, QoS.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure network security through updates, patching, and best practices.
• Maintain detailed network documentation including topology diagrams and procedures.
• Provide support for network incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT and cybersecurity teams on projects.
• Assist with capacity planning, scalability, and upgrades.

The Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer would be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organizations cybersecurity, information security, privacy, governance, risk management, compliance, and security operations programs to safeguard information assets and support business objectives.INTECH's commitment to cutting-edge technology ensures that you will contribute to building robust digital infrastructure and help implement forward-thinking IT practices to support business goals.

What You'll Lead and Deliver

• Collaborate with cross-functional IT and cybersecurity teams to support infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Assist with network capacity planning, scalability, and future upgrades.

Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5- 8 years of proven experience in enterprise networking roles.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with: Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) ,Ruckus Wi-Fi technologies (ZoneDirector, SmartZone, APs), Cisco switching and routing (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ASR series)
• Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols, IP subnetting, routing, and switching.
• Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPNs).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools .
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Certifications (Optional but Advantageous):

• Fortinet NSE4 or above
• Cisco CCNA / CCNP
• Ruckus Wireless Certification (e.g., Ruckus WISE)
