Job summary

PsychPlus is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join its healthcare technology team in Pakistan. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure software solutions that support patient care and data-driven decisions.

You will lead backend development with C# and .NET Core, build APIs, collaborate with product and clinical stakeholders, and ensure compliance with security and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Experience in healthcare IT or regulated environments is a plus.

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our healthcare technology team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions that improve healthcare operations, support data-driven decision-making, and protect sensitive patient information.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET Core.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote clean code, code reviews, and best practices across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and engineering teams to define requirements.
• Build scalable APIs, integrate EHR systems and other healthcare technologies, and optimize application performance.
• Implement security and privacy best practices for sensitive healthcare data.
• Support analytics, reporting, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
• Contribute to software architecture, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 6+ years with C# and .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of backend development, REST APIs, databases, and software architecture.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, testing, and established SDLC practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in healthcare IT, financial systems, or other regulated environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HL7, X12, or DICOM standards is an advantage.
