Job summary

Ciklum in Pakistan is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to join a cross-functional team for a major digital transformation project. You will drive back-end development, participate in architecture reviews, and collaborate with PMs, developers, and QA to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires 4+ years of experience in commercial software development, strong .NET/C# expertise, and exposure to AI tools like GitHub Copilot.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, DDD, SOLID, TDD, and BDD.
• Experience with RESTful services and HTTP-based architectures.
• Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of key-value stores (Redis).
• Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent C# and .NET experience.
• Exposure to AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and familiarity with Vibe coding.
• Commercial experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core/MVC/WebAPI.
• Experience with ORM (Entity Framework, Dapper).
• SQL Server RDBMS, messaging (RabbitMQ, Service Bus), cloud (Azure).
• Testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).
• REST API development for mobile apps and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Back-end development of new functionality.
• Participating in code and architectural reviews; documenting architecture.
• Communicating with stakeholders: PMs, developers, architects, QA.
• Delivering the product roadmap and planning for the future.
• Handling complex problems and providing rapid field support.
