Job summary

Neksogix is seeking a Senior .NET / C# Backend & Data Services Developer to join our Lahore team. You will design, develop, and optimize production-ready C#/.NET Core services, SQL Server databases, and cloud-integrated data pipelines, working US hours onsite in Lahore.

You will own REST APIs, background services, and distributed messaging workflows, using EF Core, Dapper, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Service Bus to ensure scalable, robust systems with strong error handling and testing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Strong SQL Server design, stored procedures, and query optimization experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end software development lifecycle for backend services and REST APIs.
• Design and optimize SQL Server schemas, stored procedures, migrations, and queries.
• Implement distributed messaging (Azure Service Bus) and background processing workflows.
• Ensure robust error handling, retry logic, idempotency, and dead-letter queue strategies.
• Collaborate on cloud configurations, secret management (Azure Key Vault), and trace production issues.
