Job summary

Arbisoft in Lahore is seeking a Senior Machine Engineer with about 5 years of hands-on experience building, shipping, and maintaining production software and deploying cutting‑edge AI solutions. You'll focus on infrastructure, CI/CD, and platform reliability, leveraging Python, transformers, and scalable cloud‑based ML systems.

You'll design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deploy configurations for Docker Swarm and Kubernetes, evaluate ML models with PyTorch/TensorFlow, build LLM systems, and own

Qualifications

• 5 years of industry experience building and shipping software.
• BS in Computer Science or masters.
• Strong command of CI/CD workflows, GitHub Actions, Docker, and infrastructure automation.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes and Docker Swarm deployment setups.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and data processing.
• Ability to read, debug, and maintain unfamiliar codebases.
• Experience managing tech debt and communicating tradeoffs to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment configurations.
• Evaluate ML/DL models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
• Develop and optimize LLM-based systems incl. prompt‑tuning and LoRA adapters.
• Own infrastructure automation and DevOps practices across environments.
• Set up monitoring for production services and write scalable tests.
• Triage and improve complex codebases and reduce technical debt.
• Work with SQL and data processing tasks as needed.
• Develop robust RAG pipelines and manage vector stores (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Communicate effectively with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders.
