Job summary

Arbisoft in Lahore seeks a Senior ML Engineer focused on Infrastructure & Data Systems to build and maintain production ML pipelines. The role emphasizes development of CI/CD, scalable cloud ML systems, and robust infrastructure.

Expect hands-on work with Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and model tooling. You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to deploy AI solutions, ensure reliability, and optimize data processing tasks across environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of industry experience building and shipping software.
• BS in Computer Science or masters.
• Strong command of CI/CD workflows, GitHub Actions, Docker, and infra automation.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes and Docker Swarm deployment setups.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and data processing.
• Strong code engineering fundamentals, able to read, debug, and maintain unfamiliar code.
• Track record of addressing tech debt, not avoiding it.
• Excellent communication skills to explain tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Design and manage deployment configurations for Docker Swarm and Kubernetes.
• Evaluate ML/DL models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
• Build and optimize LLM-based systems with prompt-tuning and adapters (e.g., LoRA, QLoRA).
• Own infrastructure automation and apply DevOps practices across environments.
• Set up and maintain production monitoring for services.
• Write automated tests and scalable testing frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and maintain complex codebases; improve them.
• Identify and resolve technical debt.
• Work with SQL and handle data processing tasks as needed.
• Train simple ML models (e.g., regression) when required.
• Develop robust RAG pipelines; work with embeddings and vector databases.
