Job summary

Indus Hospital invites applications for a Senior Medical Officer in Imaging Services to lead clinical care across OPD, IPD, ER and ICU settings, applying imaging-guided decisions and collaborating with consultants.

The role requires two years of training, MBBS with two years PG training (MCPS/diploma or equivalent) and a valid PMC license, with a focus on patient safety, SOP adherence, audits and CME activities.

Qualifications

• Two years of training completed.
• PMC license holder.
• MBBS with two years post graduate training MCPS/diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in OPD, IPD, ER, ICU, or specialty units as assigned.
• Propose a diagnosis based on history, examination, laboratory and imaging data.
• Develop and implement treatment plans under Consultant supervision.
• Perform clinical procedures within scope of training, specialty and the limits of credentialing granted by the IHHN.
• Provide on-call coverage as per duty roster.
• Provide clinical guidance and ensure adherence with hospital clinical guidelines and SOPs.
• Participate in CME, research initiatives and case presentations for capacity building at the workplace.

Job Description

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in OPD, IPD, ER, ICU, or specialty units as assigned.
• Propose a diagnosis based on history, examination, laboratory and imaging data.
• Develop and implement treatment plans under Consultant supervision.
• Perform clinical procedures within scope of training, specialty and the limits of credentialing granted by the IHHN.Participate in ward rounds and case discussions; ensure timely and accurate patient documentation.
• Respond to medical emergencies and code blue situations. elevate complex cases to Consultants appropriately.Provide on-call coverage as per duty roster.
• Provide clinical guidance and ensure adherence with hospital clinical guidelines and SOPs.
• Participate in clinical audits, morbidity and mortality meetings as guided.
• Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Engage with other teams to facilitate high quality care and improve patient experience.
• Participate in CME, research initiatives and case presentations for capacity building at the workplace.
