Job summary

muSharp is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to build and extend the Java core of an enterprise wealth management and investment platform. You will work on scalable REST APIs, authentication, and data modeling within a hybrid environment in Lahore, Pakistan.

The role requires 5+ years of Java backend experience, with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3, and familiarity with Azure services and multi-tenant architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend Java development experience.
• Experience building scalable REST APIs in multi-tenant environments.
• Proficiency with JWT, OAuth2/OpenID Connect and Entra ID.
• Experience with SQL Server and schema migrations.
• Familiarity with Azure Service Bus and Blob Storage.
• Enterprise-grade development practices and testing.

Responsibilities

• Build REST APIs in a large, multi-tenant Spring Boot / JPA codebase.
• Implement authentication and access control: OAuth2 / OIDC, JWT, roles.
• Design SQL Server schema changes and safe migration scripts.
• Integrate with other services, including REST sync with a Laravel module, Azure Service Bus and Blob Storage, and AI services.
• Write tests and review pull requests.
