Job summary

Qualifications

7+ years of professional software development experience with leadership/architecture focus.
Strong command of Java 17+, Spring Boot & Spring Cloud; RESTful API design.
Deep understanding of concurrency, JVM performance tuning, and design patterns.
Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and service-to-service communication.
Familiarity with observability tools and monitoring stacks (Zipkin/Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana).
Cloud-native experience with AWS/Azure/GCP; container orchestration is a plus.
Exposure to IoT backends, real-time data streaming (Kafka, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design modular, resilient architectures using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Apply domain-driven design and microservices patterns to improve scalability.
Provide technical guidance on JVM behavior, performance tuning, and threading.
Lead performance profiling and memory-leak analysis for production-grade applications.
Architect and implement real-time data ingestion flows using Kafka, MQTT, WebSockets, or gRPC.
Mentor engineers on system design, code quality, and refactoring decisions.
Collaborate with Architects, DevOps, and Product Owners to balance quality and delivery.
