Job summary

Volga Partners is seeking experienced professionals to support the development and evaluation of AI models in the finance domain. This is a project-based independent contractor role focusing on evaluating AI-generated financial analyses, validating reasoning, and identifying inaccuracies.

You should bring expert-level domain knowledge in investment banking and corporate finance, plus strong English communication, and comfort with remote, flexible scheduling across IST/PST shifts.

Qualifications

• Significant practical experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Transaction Advisory.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. financial markets and corporate finance principles.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Ability to independently evaluate complex financial analyses and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated financial analyses for accuracy and reasoning.
• Identify inaccuracies, assumptions, and calculation errors.
• Review financial models, valuation methodologies, and investment analyses produced by AI.
• Create and refine finance-related prompts and evaluation datasets.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI model performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, QA, and AI researchers to improve evaluation methods.
• Maintain productivity while working remotely.
