Job summary

Indus Hospital is seeking a Senior Officer to oversee audits across departments, ensuring compliance with SOPs and policies while upholding professional ethics.

The role involves timely audits, preparation of working papers and final reports, and liaison with departments to foster trust. The incumbent will cultivate cross‑departmental relationships and support the Internal Audit Department’s goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with ACCA/ICMA partial qualification.
• Auditing across departments for policy compliance per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Review the effectiveness of the internal control system and ensure its compliance.
• Ensure timely initiation, execution and completion of audits; prepare working papers and final audit reports.
• Ensure departments update implementation of prior audit reports periodically.
• Liaise with other departments to build relationships and trust.
• Prepare reports on the audits of operational activities as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Carry out regular follow-up with the departments to update implementation status of prior audit reports.
• Disseminate knowledge among the Internal Audit Department colleagues by making presentations, conducting workshops, and advising as needed.
• Develop and maintain contacts with departments on an ongoing basis by meeting people, to enhance relationships and trust.
• Assist supervisor in achieving the department’s goals and objectives as per directions.
• Carry out other special assignments as directed by the supervisor.
