Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients in the ICU with assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Provide round-the-clock ICU care, including emergencies and on-call coverage.
• Perform and supervise ICU procedures such as intubation, central line placement and ventilator management.
• Conduct daily ICU rounds and coordinate care with other specialties.
• Lead and supervise ICU residents, nurses and allied staff; ensure infection control.
• Teach MBBS students and postgraduate trainees; participate in CME activities and audits.
