Job summary

IFRC in Pakistan seeks a Senior Programme Officer, Health, to provide technical leadership and programme management to strengthen immunization access in hard-to-reach and crisis-affected communities.

You will collaborate with PRCS, EPI, UNICEF, WHO and partners to design, implement, monitor and scale evidence-based immunisation interventions, with emphasis on zero-dose populations and community health integration.

Qualifications

• MBBS / MD or equivalent medical degree. Master’s in public health or health systems management is desirable.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in public health programmes.
• Minimum of 3 years direct experience in immunization, EPI, vaccine-preventable diseases, or community health programmes.
• Experience working with government immunization programmes, UNICEF, WHO, Gavi, or civil society partners.

Responsibilities

• Represent IFRC in national and provincial immunization coordination platforms and technical working groups.
• Monitor and coordinate immunization programme performance, budgets and reporting.
• Support planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of immunization and community health activities.
• Strengthen PRCS capacities in data collection, monitoring, and outreach activities.
