Job summary

Client is seeking a Senior Project Associate (GBV) based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. You will support GBV risk mitigation, prevention and response services, coordinating with GBV caseworkers and partners to deliver timely support to survivors.

Under supervision of the National GBV Officer, you will monitor SOP adherence, provide technical guidance, contribute to trainings and field activities, and help develop procedures to strengthen GBV programming in humanitarian action.

Qualifications

• High School Degree with 7 years of experience; or
• Bachelor's or Higher degree in development studies, political sciences, social sciences, gender studies, law, human rights or related field with 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Support in planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of GBV activities in Karachi in coordination with relevant officers.
• Monitor GBV case management services ensuring adherence to SOPs and reflect implementation challenges in work plans.
• Provide day-to-day technical support, supervision and mentorship to GBV caseworkers to improve service delivery and referrals.
• Coordinate GBV activities including trainings, workshops, and field visits with National GBV Officer and Protection Field Coordinator.
• Engage with government authorities, community leaders and humanitarian partners to strengthen access to services for survivors.
