Job summary

Interwood Mobel is seeking a creative and detail-oriented interior/product designer to translate market trends into functional furniture products. You will develop material, finish, colour, and hardware combinations for new products and showroom displays, and coordinate sampling with Production, SCM, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, or a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of furniture design or product development experience.
• Experience in furniture materials, finishes, hardware, prototyping, and product development will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop material, finish, colour, and hardware combinations for new products and showroom displays.
• Coordinate product sampling, prototyping, and development with Production, SCM, and external vendors.
• Support showroom display planning, kitchen and wardrobe layouts, and interior detailing.
• Explore material sourcing opportunities and evaluate boards, finishes, hardware, accessories, and mechanisms.
• Review prototypes and production samples to ensure design accuracy, functionality, and quality standards.
• Maintain NPD documentation, product specifications, technical drawings, and development timelines.
• Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify emerging trends, materials, and functional design solutions.
