Interwood Mobel (Pvt) Ltd. in Lahore seeks a creative product development professional to translate market trends into high‑quality furniture.

You will develop material, finish, colour, and hardware combinations for new products and showroom displays, coordinating sampling with Production and external vendors. This role supports showroom planning, kitchen and wardrobe detailing, and material sourcing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, or a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of relevant furniture design/product development experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of furniture materials, finishes, colours, hardware, accessories, and mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Develop material, finish, colour, and hardware combinations for new products and showroom displays.
• Coordinate product sampling, prototyping, and development with Production, SCM, and external vendors.
• Review prototypes and production samples to ensure design accuracy, functionality, and quality standards.
• Maintain NPD documentation, product specifications, technical drawings, and development timelines.
• Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify emerging trends, materials, and functional design solutions.

Interwood Mobel is looking for a creative and detail-oriented professional to support furniture product development, material selection, prototyping, and translating market trends and design concepts into functional, high-quality products.

• Develop material, finish, colour, and hardware combinations for new products and showroom displays.
• Coordinate product sampling, prototyping, and development with Production, SCM, and external vendors.
• Support showroom display planning, kitchen and wardrobe layouts, and interior detailing.
• Explore material sourcing opportunities and evaluate boards, finishes, hardware, accessories, and mechanisms.
• Review prototypes and production samples to ensure design accuracy, functionality, and quality standards.
• Maintain NPD documentation, product specifications, technical drawings, and development timelines.
• Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify emerging trends, materials, and functional design solutions.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, or a relevant field.

Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in furniture design, product development, interior detailing, or a related field.
• Experience in furniture materials, finishes, hardware, prototyping, and product development will be preferred.

Required Skill Set

• Knowledge of furniture materials, finishes, colours, hardware, accessories, and mechanisms.
• Proficiency in design software and technical drawings.
• Understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and product specifications.
