Job summary

AppWork is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing R&D team. You will influence the product experience end-to-end, building intuitive front-end interfaces and scalable backend systems to deliver seamless user experiences.

You’ll collaborate with design and product to shape architecture, drive high-quality code, and mentor teammates while delivering resilient software for property management workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Elixir experience required.
• 7+ years of full stack development experience delivering production-grade web apps.
• Strong frontend experience with React/Angular/Vue and design-system familiarity.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• AWS cloud services familiarity and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of messaging queues (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ, Oban) and asynchronous processing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features across the stack.
• Elevate user experience by translating designs into pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Architect and optimize for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and other engineers to meet goals.
