Job summary

STACKONN is seeking a Frontend Developer to own the user experience, building fast, accessible interfaces in React/Next.js. The role requires collaborating with product and design in a hybrid setup (3 days in-office in Lahore / 2 days remote).

You will translate designs, optimize performance, implement robust state management, and maintain a scalable design system while adhering to frontend standards and tests.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years building production React apps.
• Strong TypeScript and component design skills.
• Solid knowledge of Next.js (routing, SSR/SSG, caching/revalidation, images).
• Strong CSS skills (Tailwind or modern CSS).
• Experience consuming REST APIs and handling edge cases.
• Good understanding of performance and accessibility basics.
• Familiarity with Git + PR workflow.
• Based in Lahore (or able to work from Lahore) and comfortable with hybrid work.
• Portfolio or shipped products that prove you can deliver real UI.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable UI components and feature flows in React/Next.js
• Translate Figma designs into pixel‑clean, responsive interfaces
• Improve performance (Core Web Vitals), loading states, and perceived speed
• Implement robust state management and clean data fetching patterns
• Ship accessible UI (keyboard navigation, ARIA, contrast, semantics)
• Write frontend tests where it matters (component + basic e2e for key flows)
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define clean API contracts
• Track and fix UI bugs quickly, and prevent repeat issues with better patterns
• Maintain a consistent design system and keep the UI scalable
• Review code and keep frontend standards high (linting, formatting, conventions)
