Job summary

HR POD Careers is seeking a Senior Front-end Engineer to own frontend quality for the flagship Console product. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to implement new features and drive architectural decisions.

You will analyze ambiguous problems, craft maintainable solutions, and contribute to RFCs and technical docs. This role emphasizes autonomy, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong engineering culture in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable front-end solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities for complex engineering problems.
• Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems and determine solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to document technical decisions.
• Experience contributing to RFCs, design documents or technical docs.
• Ability to present technical information clearly to varied audiences.
• Proactive mindset with initiative to identify problems and opportunities.
• Understanding business context of technical and product challenges and prioritization.
• Curiosity to learn new technologies and approaches.
• Ability to collaborate with product, design, engineering, marketing and cross-functional teams.
• Experience owning frontend work with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to implement enhancements and develop new features for the flagship Console product.
• Take ownership of strategic technical and architectural decisions related to front-end development.
• Independently identify, evaluate, and propose improvements to drive product growth and productivity.
• Analyze ambiguous problems, break them down systematically, and develop high-quality, maintainable solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address front-end development needs.
• Build front-end experiences for product demos, open-source projects, marketing materials, and related initiatives.
• Contribute to technical RFCs, design docs, and other written communications of technical decisions.
• Help establish and maintain engineering practices and standards for scalability and long-term product development.
• Take initiative in identifying technical and product challenges and prioritize solutions with relevant teams.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture as the company grows.
• Help ensure frontend solutions provide a high-quality experience for customers and users.
