Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior frontend engineer to lead the selection and migration of our frontend stack to a modern architecture. You will design scalable, high-performance frontend solutions delivering low-latency experiences across regions via CDNs.

You will mentor engineers in design systems, component architecture, and testing strategies. You will collaborate with design teams and founders to understand feature priorities and drive alignment with product goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience at scale.
• Expert-level in TypeScript and JavaScript with modern frontend frameworks.
• Proven track record building world-class user experiences.
• Deep experience with design systems and shared components.
• Strong background in high-performance frontend delivery using CDNs.
• Experience with frontend analytics and experimentation frameworks.
• Hands-on with web bundlers like Esbuild, Webpack or Vite.
• Strong API design, end-to-end testing and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead selection of frontend stack and strategy to migrate legacy frontend.
• Design and implement scalable, low-latency frontend across regions via CDNs.
• Mentor engineers on best practices, design systems, and testing.
• Collaborate with design to deliver beautiful and reliable experiences.
• Work with founders and product managers to align frontend priorities.
• Leverage AI agents to derive feature work and productivity.
