Job summary

The World Bank Group in Pakistan is seeking a Senior Digital Specialist to advance digital and AI agendas across government, development partners, and private sector. Qualifications

• Master's degree in telecommunications, engineering, computer science, business administration, economics, public policy or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of ICT/Digital Economy policy, regulation, and project design/implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and strong presentation skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and supervision of digital and AI investment and policy programs in Pakistan.
• Support the @A Billion Implementation Plan initiatives and broaden broadband access.
• Advise on ICT policy, regulatory reform, and digital services delivery within governments.
• Lead policy dialogues with senior officials and external partners.
• Oversee economic and financial analysis for project designs and PPPs.
• Coordinate with cross-sector teams to leverage digital tech for public service delivery.
