Ciklum Pakistan is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Islamabad office. You will design and deploy Power BI solutions, build data models, and optimize ETL across multiple data stores to deliver actionable insights for clients.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous learning to advance the TAX platform. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of BI/PBI experience, strong SQL/DAX skills, and hands-on work with Azure Data Factory and Synapse.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building BI solutions with Power BI.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals.
• Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse).
• Experience in Agile SCRUM and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI solutions for dashboards and reports.
• Create and optimize data models and ETL pipelines across data stores.
• Tune SQL/DAX queries for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to data ingestion, batch/real-time processing, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver insights.
