Contour Software in Pakistan invites applications for a Senior Software Developer role focusing on Blazor and .NET Core. The position will be based in Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad resource centers as an extension of the R&D department.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Blazor, C#, RESTful APIs, and modern web architectures, with the ability to maintain legacy AngularJS apps and collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency with Blazor (Server or WebAssembly)
• Solid experience with .NET Core and C#
• Ability to maintain and enhance legacy AngularJS applications
• Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of modern web application architecture
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience with Git and standard CI/CD workflows
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain web applications using Blazor and .NET Core, including supporting and maintaining legacy AngularJS applications
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers as the team grows
• Contribute to improving engineering processes, tooling, and standards
