Job Title: Senior BI Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior BI Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in transforming raw data into actionable insights, primarily focusing on developing sophisticated analytics, reports, and dashboards derived from enterprise systems dealing in ERP, HCM, and SCM.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions across enterprise systems, including Oracle SaaS ERP, Financials, SCM, and HCM.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Develop and optimize reports using BI tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher (BIP), and other reporting platforms.
• Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards.
• Optimize queries and reporting processes to improve performance and efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation for reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay up to date with emerging BI tools, reporting technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in Business Intelligence, BI Engineering, Data Analytics, or enterprise reporting.
• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
• Working knowledge or hands‑on experience with enterprise BI and reporting tools.
• Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports, SSRS, Telerik, or similar platforms will be valued. Candidates with strong BI and reporting fundamentals will also be considered, even if they have not worked extensively with multiple tools.
• Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modelling concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher (BIP).
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud applications, particularly ERP, Financials, SCM, or HCM.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation.
• Experience working with enterprise reporting, data integration, and analytics solutions.
• Relevant certifications in BI tools, data analytics, or Oracle technologies.
