Job summary

Techsurge Private Limited in Karachi seeks a backend developer with 4-6 years of experience to contribute across the software lifecycle. You will implement services in Java Spring Boot and NodeJS, build RESTful APIs, and ensure unit and integration tests meet client expectations.

You will work on scalable databases, collaborate in an Agile team, and help improve the continuous delivery process while maintaining strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience as a backend developer in Java Spring Boot, NodeJS, etc.
• Strong object-oriented programming knowledge and SOLID principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and performance tuning of large-scale apps.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Experience integrating with JS frameworks like React/AngularJS is a plus.
• Ability to write unit, integration, and API tests.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT products and perform unit tests aligned with customer wishes.
• Design, build and test IT products including functional, performance, resilience, and security tests.
• Improve the Continuous Delivery process and resolve incidents relating to IT products.
• Set up environments, deploy products, and monitor usage.
• Collaborate on sprint events and ensure alignment on requirements.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly and drive team decisions.
