Job summary

Walee in Lahore is seeking an experienced Android engineer to help build cutting-edge mobile experiences in video streaming, custom camera pipelines, and advanced rendering. This role demands practical mastery of modern Android development.

You will own Kotlin + Coroutines/Flow, Jetpack Compose UI, Hilt/DI, MVVM and networking, while shaping architecture for RTMP ingest, OpenGL ES shaders, and CameraX frame processing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building Android apps with Kotlin and coroutines/Flow.
• Strong UI skills using Jetpack Compose and clean architecture.
• Experience with MVVM patterns, DI, and networking layers.

Responsibilities

• Implement Kotlin + Coroutines/Flow based features with no Java.
• Build production-grade UI with Jetpack Compose.
• Integrate networking, persistence, and Retrofit/OkHttp + Room.
• Develop RTMP streaming customization and OpenGL ES pipelines.
• Work with CameraX for frame capture and GL processing.
• Maintain strict Git discipline and code review culture.
