Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and results-driven Senior Amazon PPC Manager to take ownership of our brands’ Amazon advertising strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Amazon PPC and a proven track record of developing and executing strategies to drive sales and profitability. This person will be accountable for managing advertising budgets, optimizing campaigns, and identifying new growth opportunities to scale our portfolio of brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute PPC Strategies: Create, implement, and manage comprehensive Amazon PPC strategies to increase sales, improve return on ad spend (ROAS), and maximize profitability for multiple brands.
  • Campaign Management: Manage all aspects of Amazon PPC campaigns, including keyword research, bid management, ad creation, and performance analysis.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Regularly analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Implement changes to optimize campaigns for better visibility, conversion rates, and cost efficiency.
  • Budget Management: Take full ownership of advertising budgets, ensuring that spending is aligned with business goals and delivering the best possible ROI.
  • Competitive Research: Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies. Use these insights to develop new PPC tactics and enhance existing campaigns.
  • Reporting and Insights: Generate regular reports on PPC performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align PPC strategies with overall business goals and brand positioning.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep up to date with the latest changes in Amazon's advertising platform, policies, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Strategic Growth Planning: Identify new opportunities for growth, including new ad types, markets, and channels to expand brand visibility and revenue potential.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving profitability through effective PPC strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Expertise in using Amazon Advertising tools, such as Amazon Seller Central, and third-party tools like Helium 10, Sale Insights, and Data Dive.
  • Excellent understanding of keyword research, bid optimization, and audience targeting strategies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Desired Skills and Competencies
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with programmatic advertising, Amazon DSP, and display ad campaigns.
  • Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms (Walmart, eBay) is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Creative problem-solver with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics.
