Job summary

Devsinc is seeking a highly skilled AI/ML & Data Engineer to combine hands-on engineering with strong business acumen. You will understand client requirements, architect the right solution, present it confidently, and help convert opportunities into successful projects.

The role demands designing scalable AI/ML/data pipelines, engaging with clients, leading technical discussions, and delivering compelling technical proposals. Strong communication and stakeholding skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of professional experience in AI/ML, Data Engineering, or data science.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with ML/DL, NLP, and Generative AI.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data modeling, databases, and data warehousing.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML and Data Engineering solutions.
• Work hands-on with Python, SQL, ML, data pipelines, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Develop solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, NLP, predictive analytics, and AI/ML frameworks.
• Design and implement data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data processing solutions.
• Evaluate technical requirements and recommend architecture, tools, and technologies.
• Engage with clients to understand business and technical challenges.
• Lead technical discovery calls, presentations, solution discussions, demos, and POCs.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution architectures, project scopes, estimates, and SOWs.
• Collaborate with Sales and leadership to identify and close new project opportunities.
• Address objections and communicate complex solutions clearly for business value.
• Build client relationships and identify opportunities for upselling and long-term engagements.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams for successful handover and execution.

• 4-8 years of relevant professional experience in AI/ML, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related domain
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Generative AI
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data modeling, databases, and data warehousing
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with ML/AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar
• Experience with APIs, microservices, Git, CI/CD, and production deployment
• Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, performance, and data security
• Strong hands-on technical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong client-facing, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value
