Job summary

ArhamSoft in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and implement LLM-powered chatbot systems with agentic workflows. You will build production-grade AI applications, develop end-to-end pipelines, and optimize models for real‑world use.

The role covers memory and personalization, multi-step agent tasks, evaluation dashboards, and scalable services. You will work with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini APIs and leading frameworks to move research into production.

Senior AI Engineer - LLM & Agentic Systems

ArhamSoft (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to build and improve advanced AI chatbot systems with agentic workflows. The role involves designing LLM-powered applications, developing AI pipelines, improving conversational intelligence, implementing memory and personalization systems, and working on AI evaluation and model optimization.The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience building production‑grade AI applications using LLMs, RAG, agent frameworks, model fine‑tuning, and machine learning pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI-powered conversational agents with complex agentic workflows.
• Build and maintain chatbot architectures for different use cases including customer interaction, lead generation, and personalized AI companions.
• Develop LLM pipelines for response generation, evaluation, scoring, and optimization.
• Implement memory systems for maintaining user context and personalization.
• Build user profiling systems to understand user behavior and improve AI responses.
• Work on LLM fine‑tuning and behavior optimization.
• Develop emotion recognition and sentiment analysis capabilities.
• Improve chatbot accuracy, response quality, and conversational behavior.
• Design scalable AI services and integrate them into production systems.
• Handle missing data scenarios and build intelligent fallback mechanisms.
• Create data visualization and export pipelines for AI-generated insights.
• Perform model evaluation and benchmark AI performance.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in AI/ML.
• Hands‑on experience building LLM applications using OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar APIs.
• Experience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, fine‑tuning, embeddings, and RAG.
• Experience building AI agents, chatbots, and multi‑step workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of NLP/ML, including text classification, sentiment analysis, and model evaluation.
• Experience with FastAPI/Flask, databases, and vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, ChromaDB, or Weaviate.
• Experience designing scalable AI systems, memory systems, and production AI solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP and MLOps is a plus.
• Ability to independently take AI solutions from research to production.
