Job summary

GulfDesign UAE in Faisalabad, Pakistan is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide financial analysis.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in accounting, strong MS Excel skills, QuickBooks experience, and a solid understanding of GAAP. A Bachelor's degree is required; CPA is a plus. Salary around 1,500 USD per month with accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to support decision making.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, inventory, and cash flow.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and controls.
• Train junior staff members on accounting principles.
