Job summary

GulfSea Services in Faisalabad, Pakistan is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. This full-time position offers a salary of $1300 per month and involvement in preparing financial statements, managing payables/receivables, and data entry.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred), strong Excel skills, and familiarity with QuickBooks or SAP. We welcome candidates with or without prior experience who are eager to learn and grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Prior experience in an accounting role is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Help analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
• Support the preparation of tax returns and audits
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and procedures
