Job summary

PsychPlus is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to own day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate, U.S. GAAP-compliant reporting. You will manage accrual accounting, fixed asset accounting, and reconciliations across business units.

The role covers monthly close, preparation of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, with coordination of external audits and statutory reporting. Based in Lahore, this position requires strong details and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience with fixed asset accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with accrual-basis accounting and month-end close.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) per U.S. GAAP.
• Manage the monthly close process with journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Consolidate financials across branches/locations where applicable.
• Maintain financial records and reporting in USD per the calendar and deadlines.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers for statutory deliverables.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls over cash, inventory, fixed assets, and payroll.
• Maintain fixed asset register and rollforwards; reconcile subledger to GL; calculate monthly depreciation.
