Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. The role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective internal controls. The Senior Accountant will also support budgeting, audits, and financial planning while supervising junior accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.

Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.

Review reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor statements, and intercompany balances.

Supervise, train, and guide junior accountants and accounting staff.

Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance financial processes.

Collaborate with management to support strategic decision-making through financial insights.

Job Specification:

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CA/ICMA preferred).

Minimum 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
