About the team

The People Operations & Systems team at Careem is on a mission to enhance the overall experience for our colleagues by streamlining processes, optimizing people systems, and providing data-driven insights. As part of our fast-paced and collaborative environment, we are responsible to manage all the People Systems and use the data to convert it to meaningful insights that help the business make informed decisions.

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support our People team with critical insights, reporting, and system-related data support. This role will play a key part in building and maintaining reports and dashboards, enabling better decision-making through data. The ideal candidate is highly detail oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with various people systems.

What you\'ll do
  • Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards using Looker Studio, Excel, and Google Sheets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure reporting solutions meet business needs
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights supporting business decisions
  • Support the implementation and optimization of people systems
  • Ensure data integrity and drive initiatives to improve data quality
  • Provide ad hoc data and reporting support to various stakeholders across the People team and the wider business.
  • Help with the data gathering required for workforce planning.
What you\'ll need
  • 3–4 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in People/HR domains
  • Strong hands-on skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and Looker Studio
  • Good working knowledge of HR or People systems implementation/management (e.g., Oracle, Greenhouse, Leapsome) is a plus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive, solutions-driven mindset
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
