Job summary

Confidential Company seeks a dedicated Security Guard to protect our premises, assets, personnel, and visitors. You will monitor access points, patrol regularly, operate CCTV and alarm systems, and maintain logs of daily activities.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, with basic knowledge of security procedures, first aid, and fire safety. Ex-servicemen or disciplined-forces background are encouraged to apply, with strong communication and calm decision-making under pressure.

Qualifications

• Matriculation or high school degree; higher qualifications preferred.
• Prior security guard experience an advantage.
• Physically fit to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures, first aid, and fire safety.
• Ex-servicemen or disciplined-forces background encouraged.
• Alertness, strong observation skills.
• Integrity, reliability, and sound judgment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively under pressure.
• Basic reporting and record-keeping ability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at designated access points.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter unauthorized activity, safety hazards, or suspicious behavior.
• Operate and monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV) and alarm systems.
• Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, incidents, and daily activities.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and disturbances, and elevate to appropriate authorities when required.
• Enforce site access, safety, and security policies.
• Inspect security equipment and report faults or maintenance needs.
• Provide clear directions and assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Support emergency evacuation and safety drills as instructed.
• Prepare incident reports and submit them to the supervisor in a timely manner.
