Job summary

NorthBay Solutions is hiring a Senior Security Engineer (L2/L3) based in Lahore, Pakistan, to support a large-scale 24x7 Security Operations environment. The ideal candidate will bring 4–10 years of IT Security Operations experience and a strong hands-on background with firewall technologies such as Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.

Key responsibilities include managing and troubleshooting firewalls, supporting endpoint security, and investigating security incidents. There's an opportunity to work with highly skilled security teams and exposure to leading security technologies.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of experience in IT Security Operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Implement and review firewall policies, ACLs, NAT, and security rules.
• Administer WAF, IPS, VPN, MFA, and proxy security solutions.
• Support endpoint security platforms including EDR, DLP, and antivirus solutions.
• Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Review security logs, alerts, and operational events.
• Support audit, compliance, and security governance requirements.
• Execute security hardening and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) activities and readiness exercises.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with enterprise security technologies including firewalls, web security, endpoint protection, VPNs, and security operations processes.

Experience
