Job summary

The Citizen Foundation seeks a leadership role to drive school quality and administration. You will champion evidence-based learning, recruit and develop teachers, and cultivate a collaborative school culture that supports every student.

Based in Sindh, you will engage with the community, oversee both academic and administrative operations, and ensure timely reporting while coordinating with HR for staffing and policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Promote evidence-based learning by monitoring school progress across key performance indicators and drive improvement for every student.
• Recruit quality teachers by implementing the Teacher Selection process.
• Develop school improvement plans based on need analysis and ensure implementation.
• Monitor classroom quality through lesson planners and both formal and informal observations.
• Improve teacher quality through demo sessions and continuous feedback.
• Monitor student performance by re-checking copies and tests as per policy.
• Organize, manage and monitor co-curricular activities, timetable, assemblies, and use of academic resources.
• Attend training sessions and conduct on-the-job training for faculty.
• Conduct term tests and examinations transparently and timely.
• Build team spirit and motivate teachers with a focus on retention.
• Develop strong community relationships to promote education for both male and female children and encourage enrolment in TCF schools.
• Maintain student strength through enrolment strategies and outreach of teachers.
• Maintain CV banks and coordinate with Area and Regional HR for staffing and performance management.
• Ensure school discipline and positive character-building among students and staff.
• Manage staff leaves and attendance to minimize vacant classroom days.
• Supervise admin assistant in accounts and other matters and ensure up-to-date school accounts.
• Ensure maintenance of building and premises and timely provision of utilities.
• Coordinate with supervisor for board-related matters and ensure policy implementation.
• Submit reports and documents on time.
