Rhino Systems, a dynamic influencer marketing agency, is seeking a creative Video Editor Intern to join their remote team. This project-based internship offers an exciting opportunity to work on short-form content tailored for influencers and brands across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of what makes a video engaging, including crafting strong hooks, maintaining viewer attention, and selecting the right pacing, music, and sound effects to enhance storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit user-generated content (UGC) and influencer videos for various social media platforms.
• Transform raw footage into compelling short-form videos that capture audience interest.
• Develop multiple advertising angles by experimenting with different hooks, storytelling techniques, and calls-to-action (CTAs).
• Choose suitable music, sound effects, and visual elements to complement the content.
• Incorporate captions, B-roll, transitions, and motion graphics as needed to enhance video quality.
• Collaborate with creative briefs and reference materials to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Revise edits based on feedback and consistently meet project deadlines.

• Approximately 1 to 2 years of hands-on video editing experience, including freelance or personal projects.
• Strong grasp of video hooks, audience retention strategies, storytelling, and effective CTAs.
• Familiarity with current social media trends and editing styles relevant to short-form content.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

This internship is a remote, project-based role with the potential for ongoing collaboration based on performance.
